This dictionary is an effort to document this language so that the natives feel empowered and also to teach people who wish to learn Birjia language.
Birhor Dictionary
Birhor is a language belonging to the Munda Language Family currently spoken in Jharkhand, India. Birhor speakers are foragers whose life is almost dependent on forest produce. This dictionary is an attempt by Centre for Endagnered Languages, Central University of Jharkhand to document this language and also to encourage the community members to uphold their cultural heritage.
